Stefan K. McBride is an Arkansas family lawyer and joined Wilson & Haubert, PLLC in 2013 to complement its long-established estate-planning practice. With the addition of Stefan and his experience as an Arkansas family lawyer, Wilson & Haubert can now boast that it offers a truly comprehensive approach to protecting what matters—both financial and personal. His family-law practice centers around the areas of adoption, child custody, child support, divorce, and guardianship.
Stefan graduated from the Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he served as Associate Notes Editor of the UALR Law Review and President of the Christian Legal Society. He was also one of the founding members of the Arkansas Journal of Social Change and Public Service and received two top-paper awards. Before moving to Little Rock, Stefan graduated with a Master’s of Divinity (M.Div.) from Southern Seminary and served as a church planter.
He lives with his wife Carman in Little Rock.
Dennis K. Wilson is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law. He served as a law clerk for the honorable Morris S. Arnold, Federal Appeals Court Judge for the United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Judicial Circuit. Before opening his own firm in 1996, Dennis practiced Estate Law with Miller Looney & Associates of Little Rock, Arkansas.
In addition to his legal background, Dennis is an ordained Baptist minister with degrees in Biblical Languages, Philosophy and a Masters in Theology, and he currently serves as pastor of the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church of Cabot, Arkansas. He has served as legal counsel for various planned giving groups including churches associated with The American Baptist Association, The Southern Baptist Convention, The Church of Christ, as well as institutions and organizations including The Missionary Baptist Seminary of Little Rock and The Arkansas Baptist Foundation.
Degen Clow joined Wilson and Haubert, PLLC in 2015 after serving as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for several years in Pulaski County. During that time, he spent almost every day in court, which he now considers his office away from the office. He developed confidence and, most importantly, learned what it takes to beat a criminal charge.
Before law school, Degen graduated from UAMS with a degree in Cardio-Pulmonary Care and worked as a respiratory therapist. And before that he attended the University of Arkansas where he was a member of the Razorback football team.
He is licensed to practice law in all Arkansas state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.
Stewart grew up in Helena, Arkansas. He graduated with Honors from the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock and trained with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. His practice includes criminal defense, family law and prisoners’ rights. Stewart is a qualified Dependency/Neglect Attorney ad Litem, Domestic Relations Attorney ad Litem and an advisor to the Central Arkansas ReEntry Coalition, an organization that assists citizens returning from incarceration as they reenter society.
Before practicing law full-time, he worked as a software developer, Chief Privacy & Security Officer and in-house counsel. Stewart leverages technical expertise and experience to his clients’ advantage. He provides critical legal and technical skill as the impact of digital information and evidence expand in criminal prosecution and domestic relations.
Patrick is a native of the area having grown up in Little Rock. He graduated from Little Rock Central High School and served as co-captain of the debate squad his senior year. Go Tigers! He graduated from the William H. Bowen School of Law after receiving his Bachelors degree in Sociology from Hendrix College in Conway.
Patrick has been with Wilson & Haubert, PLLC since 2017 and worked there while finishing up his law degree until he was a licensed attorney. Patrick’s practice focuses on debt settlement, landlord tenant, family law, and criminal defense.
Patrick lives in the Hillcrest neighborhood of Little Rock with his wife Liz, also a soon-to-be attorney, and their daughters, Nora and Margot.
