Narek Vardanyan is a founding attorney at McReynolds Vardanyan, LLP, a boutique Glendale law firm focused on providing personal attention and excellent service to clients in southern California in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense and civil litigation. Since 2018, Narek has been at the forefront of advising businesspersons and entrepreneurs in California’s burgeoning cannabis industry, helping business owners obtaining the licensing and legal documentation they need to participate in this expanding market.
Narek Vardanyan is someone you want on your side of the negotiation table. His style is often relentless and always backed by a deep understanding of the law. You will find Narek to be someone intensely interested in your goals and taking every step to meet your needs diligently and effectively.
Narek Studied Political Science focusing on International Relations and Pre Law courses at Cal State LA. He received his JD from Southwestern Law School.
On December 19, 2017, he became a licensed attorney. That same year, Governor Brown signed the Medicinal and Adult-Use of Cannabis Regulation and Safety Act (MAUCRSA), which fundamentally changed the cannabis business in California. With the industry in a state of flux, Narek began advising clients on how to navigate their businesses through the ever-changing legal environment. His personal experience as a businessman and entrepreneur combined with his formal education gives him the unique ability to advise business owners.
Narek is most proud and thankful of the book of clients he provides legal services to. As counsel, his focus is on improving the service he provides to existing clients as opposed to growing them in number. This commitment, along with his ability to bring a business state of mind to the law table, has earned Narek the reputation of serving not only as wise counsel but also as a fierce advocate for his clients.
Christopher Robert (C.R.) McReynolds is a founding partner of McReynolds Vardanyan, LLP, a boutique Glendale law firm serving clients throughout Los Angeles and Southern California in personal injury, DUI & criminal defense, cannabis business licenses and civil litigation.
C.R. McReynolds knew from an early age that he wanted to be a trial attorney. At the age of 15 years old, he completed high school at Flintridge Preparatory School in La Cañada, California and enrolled in college. He attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and double minors in politics and psychology. From there, he proceeded to the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California. As a law student, he searched out every opportunity to gain real world courtroom experience. He worked as a clerk for the Honorable Janice Croft in the Northeast District of the Los Angeles Superior Court. Through the USC Domestic Violence Project, he represented indigent victims of domestic violence in restraining order proceedings in the Los Angeles Superior Court. This experience qualified him as a certified law student, allowing him to participate in five jury trials before passing the bar.
Upon passing the bar, Mr. McReynolds immediately began taking civil and criminal cases to trial. In his first year as a licensed attorney, he appeared before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and successfully argued the case of United States v. Giovanni Ramirez, which resulted in a published opinion at 347 F.3d 792. He has handled high profile litigation in both state and federal courts, defending and prosecuting a wide variety of cases. He has handled criminal matters as well as an extensive range of civil litigation, including family law matters and business litigation. After five years defending personal injury claims, he resigned as an in-house attorney for Farmers Insurance with an undefeated record. His practice now focuses on representing victims in personal injury litigation. With more than 100 trials completed, he is often utilized by other attorneys to handle the trial phase of their cases.
