We are committed to making financial freedom a reality to those who are struggling with debt. We are committed to helping those who have become disabled and unable to work find effective relief through social security disability benefits. Don’t try to tackle complex legal problems alone. The Law Office of Verna Popo, P.A., truly cares about successfully meeting your legal needs. We are here to serve you.
In today’s precarious economy, the sudden loss of a job or an extended illness can be all it takes to place your debts out of reach of your ability to repay them. Many people saw the value of their home plummet while the interest rate on their mortgage skyrocketed, while others lost their savings they had entrusted to Wall Street banks. With credit card interest rates as high as 25%, it is easy to get overextended even without any of these disasters befalling you. Fortunately, help is available.
Bankruptcy laws are written to protect people from financial ruin and offer them a second chance at financial security, whether they need to wipe the slate clean and make a fresh start or merely need some breathing room to step back and reorganize their finances in a manageable way. With a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy, we can help you take control of your finances, rid yourself of debt, and even save your home from foreclosure if you are in default on your mortgage.
If you have become disabled and cannot work, we can help you receive disability benefits from social security. Attorney Verna Popo is a former Attorney and Advisor for the Social Security Administration’s Office of Disability Adjudication and Review in Florida, and she can help you navigate the complicated application process and represent you in the complex appeals procedure if your application is denied.
At the Law Office of Verna Popo, we truly care about the people we represent. You are not just another client to us, and this is not just a job we do. We take a personal interest in your case and do everything we can to help you achieve a successful outcome. If you are having trouble deciding whether bankruptcy is an option for you, or if you are having difficulty obtaining your social security benefits, call our office for a free consultation.
