Originally from Lakeland, Florida, Joshua graduated valedictorian of his high school and played high school basketball and football. Although he received scholarship offers from colleges and universities across the United States, he attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, where he was one of five individuals awarded a four-year, all-expense-paid scholarship to Florida Southern titled the George W. Jenkins Scholarship.
He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in criminology and accounting. After working simultaneously in the insurance and criminal fields for one year, he moved to Indianapolis, where he attended and graduated from Indiana University, Robert H. McKinney School of Law, taking all required coursework toward a health law concentration.
Since being admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana, Joshua has practiced in multiple areas of litigation. Joshua practiced for 9 years with Smith Wade, LLP and SmithWade, LLC in Noblesville, Indiana, where he represented injured plaintiffs and workers in personal injury and worker’s compensation matters, as well as insurance companies, insureds, and businesses. As he worked on behalf of the insurance defense for nearly a decade, Joshua is familiar with defense tactics and strategies, from initial lawsuit through trial.

Indianapolis-based attorney, Cody Cogswell, is first and foremost a Hoosier. He was born and raised through most of his childhood in Moonville, Indiana on his Grandparents’ and Great Grandparents’ farm. Cody graduated from Anderson High School with an Academic Honors Diploma before attending Ball State University. He graduated from the Political Science Department’s Legal Studies Program at Ball State University and was accepted to Thomas M. Cooley School of Law where he was awarded a Scholarship for Academic Performance. At Cooley Law, he was a member of the U.S. Championship Team for Client Counseling and Graduated Cum Laude with a specialization in Litigation in January of 2012 and shortly thereafter passed the bar and was admitted to practice in Indiana.
Cody worked with the Indiana Attorney General’s Office while attending law school, where he worked with the Indiana Consumer Protection group, specifically in the Identity Theft Division. After graduating Law School and passing the bar Cody passed on several “Big Law” opportunities in Detroit and Indianapolis to return home to Anderson, Indiana where he opened his own practice catering to clients in Marion, Madison, Hamilton, Hancock, and Delaware Counties. During his second year of practice, Cody Cogswell got the honor to teach at his Alma Mater, Ball State University, as an adjunct professor. Cody taught five different classes for the legal studies department over the course of his three-year tenure with the University.
After Establishing a successful practice in Madison County, Cody expanded his offices to Carmel Indiana then ultimately to Fishers Indiana, where he could better serve his clients.
