We are a boutique law firm that focuses on three primary areas of practice: estate planning, probate, and business formation.
Whether we like it or not, no one will live forever. Instead of avoiding something that’s inevitable, an estate planning attorney at Crow Estate Planning and Probate can help you see it as an opportunity to take control of the future and protect what’s important to you. With offices in Clarksville, Tennessee and Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Crow Estate Planning and Probate focuses our legal practice on estate planning, probate, and business planning. This allows us to offer personalized, focused attention and sound, reliable legal advice to our clients and their families in Tennessee and Kentucky.
A loved one’s death can entail some uncertainties: How do you handle your loved one’s debts and assets? How does probate work? A Tennessee or Kentucky estate planning attorney at Crow Estate Planning and Probate can guide you from start to finish and help you understand the probate process. We understand that no one is ever fully prepared for losing a loved one, so our aim is to make the probate process as simple and straightforward for you as possible. Whether you need an estate planning lawyer to create the right estate plan on your behalf, a business attorney to guide you through the start-up process, or a probate attorney to assist you after a loved one’s death, the legal team at Crow Estate Planning and Probate can help.
If you start a small business, you can’t make mistakes that could cost you in the future. Learning the start-up basics and choosing the business entity that best suits your needs is critical. There are substantial differences between partnerships, LLCs, and corporations. A business attorney with Crow Estate Planning and Probate can explain the differences and help you create the plan that suits your needs. Your business plan should also consider the future: What happens after your death? What is the business succession plan? We guide clients through the business planning process, and we can integrate your business plan into your general estate plan.
An elder law attorney works for the elderly and their loved ones. While I am a lawyer and my career is a large part of my life, its only a small part of who I am. So let me start off by telling you a little bit about me outside of the law:
To start off, I am sort of a nerd sometimes. I love to read and learn new things. My favorite books consist of histories and biographies, but I also have an affinity for good investment and business books. I try to stay physically active and have recently set a goal of cycling the entire Lewis and Clark trail from St. Charles, Missouri to the Pacific coast in Oregon. To date, I have gone over halfway across the state of Missouri. Only several thousand miles left!
I enjoy going to the beach and lake and generally being outdoors. I play tennis when I can and will challenge anyone to a game of chess. Mention any sort of board game and I am usually quickly taking my seat. I thrive on competition and good conversation. While I am avid fan of the Vanderbilt Commodores, I usually wait till college baseball season to begin counting wins.
Much of my life revolves around my family. I am married and have a little boy who is 2 years old, and our lives primarily revolve around him. I grew up in a large family, having three older brothers I looked up to constantly. My parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles have all had a major impact on my life in one way or another and I deeply value the relationships I have with everyone in my family.
What matters to me above all is relationships and my faith. While my relationships with my family and friends are critical, my faith teaches me to treat others the way I would like to be treated and I try to remember that with anyone I meet. I am friendly, outgoing, and hope I have a good sense of humor. Laughter and being lighthearted are part of what keeps life enjoyable and I try to put others at ease.
