Ronnie primarily handles estate planning, probate, and criminal defense. Ronnie is always willing to fight for the underdog. He has a particular passion for helping the mentally ill or disabled. His talent in this area is well-respected in the community, and the Tarrant County courts regularly appoint him to represent people facing involuntary civil commitment and people who are being placed under guardianship.
In his spare time, Ronnie enjoys writing and recording music, reading, cycling, and spending time with his wife and their dogs and cats.
Each Spring, Ronnie is a featured as a co-writer, actor, singer, and musician in Tarrant Tortfeasors, the Tarrant County Bar Association’s annual legal-themed variety show benefiting Legal Aid of Northwest Texas, Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans, and other worthy causes.

Brooke Mixon

Over the last 3 years, Brooke has developed a reputation in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for caring for her clients with compassion and loyalty. Brooke handles a variety of matters for the firm including: trusts, estate planning and probate. She delivers competent representation and insightful counsel -- well grounded in law -- putting her clients on solid legal footing now and into the future.
Brooke is especially interested in estate planning for same-sex couples, who are not afforded the same protection upon the death of a partner that married heterosexual couples are. She is also interested in an often-overlooked area of lifetime planning: making preparations for your pets. All too often pets are overlooked by attorneys drafting planning documents, and that oversight can unintentionally leave a furry friend you care about in an unhealthy position.
