About Katherine Johnson
We practice exclusively in the area of family law, covering matters in divorce, child support, parentage, custody, and visitation. Chicago, Northbrook, Dupage
From delivering the welcome speech at my preschool graduation in front of a large crowd of proud parents to creating awe in my classmates as I vigorously defended Odysseus in our High School mock trial, it was clear from an early age that becoming a lawyer would be my calling.
I completed my Bachelor of Arts at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002 with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in English. My Degree in Psychology has assisted me in understanding the complex needs of my clients, and provided me with valuable insight into the actions and reactions of their significant others. During my time at the University of Missouri, I also gained instrumental skills as a crisis counselor – skills which have served me well as a family law attorney. I completed my Juris Doctorate at Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2006, and my Master of Laws in Family Law is presently in progress. While at Chicago-Kent, I received CALI Excellence for the Future award.
